Roger Sturgill, PE
Structural Engineer
Roger’s passion for building construction began 40 years ago when he worked on a crew relocating a three-story 19th-century mill to serve as the anchor for a new mall. From there, numerous framing projects honed his skills in practical design.
Approaching each project as an opportunity to collaborate and innovate, Roger has designed and managed everything from single-vehicle carports to multi-million dollar, five-story apartment buildings. His expertise extends to historic renovations, including structural design for Charlotte-area textile mill transformations and the restoration of a 1940s Ford Motor Co. assembly plant.
